SchoolDone Terms of Service
Effective May 29, 2026. Please read these terms carefully — they govern your use of SchoolDone and contain a binding arbitration clause and class-action waiver.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Alleanza Systems LLC(“SchoolDone,” “we,” “us”). They govern your access to and use of the SchoolDone mobile application (package com.naviga.schoollog), related APIs hosted at curriflow.com, and any related services we offer for homeschool daily logging (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
SchoolDone shares account infrastructure with Curriflow, our curriculum scheduling product. Using SchoolDone does not require you to use Curriflow, and Curriflow's separate Terms of Service apply only if you use Curriflow itself.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use SchoolDone. The Service is intended for parents, guardians, and homeschool educators. SchoolDone is not directed at children, and children may not create accounts. You represent that you have authority to enter information about any child profiles you create.
3. Your account
You sign in with a Google account or, on iOS, optionally with Apple ID. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the underlying Google or Apple account and for any activity under your SchoolDone account. Notify us at help@alleanzasystem.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
To delete your account and associated SchoolDone data, follow the steps on our Delete account page or email help@alleanzasystem.com. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone, subject to the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy.
4. The Service and what it does
SchoolDone helps you:
- Create child profiles and record daily learning logs (typed or dictated).
- Organize and export logs for your own files (for example PDF or text).
- Receive local reminders you opt into at your chosen time.
Not legal or educational advice. SchoolDone is a productivity and record-keeping aid. We do not provide legal, educational, or compliance advice. Logs and exports are not official transcripts, state-approved records, or accredited documentation. We do not guarantee that any school, district, agency, court, or other authority will accept your logs. You are solely responsible for reviewing entries and meeting any homeschool requirements that apply to you.
Where the Service uses automated formatting or interpretation of your notes, output may contain errors. Review all logs before relying on or sharing them.
5. Optional Focus Mode
When enabled for your account, Focus Mode can help you pause selected apps during your chosen log window using device permissions you approve (for example Screen Time or accessibility-related controls on your platform). Focus Mode is optional, may not be available on all devices or builds, and can be turned off in Settings. We will request any required device permissions separately before Focus Mode takes effect for you.
6. Subscriptions and payment
Creating new daily logs, processing new notes with automated formatting, and similar write features require an active paid subscription when monetization is enabled for your account. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play (prices shown in the store at purchase may vary by region, for example monthly or annual plans). Payment is processed by Apple or Google; we receive subscription status through our billing provider (RevenueCat), not your full payment card number. Renewal and cancellation are governed by the store's terms. Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google according to their policies, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
If your subscription ends or lapses, you may still sign in, view logs you already saved, and export those saved records (PDF or text) from data already stored in your account. Export formats your existing saved entries; it does not run new automated formatting on new text while you are unsubscribed. To create new logs or re-process notes with automated formatting, you need an active subscription.
We may change subscription pricing or features for new purchases. Changes to recurring subscriptions are handled according to store rules and applicable law.
7. Your content and the license you grant us
You retain ownership of the text, notes, and other material you enter (“Your Content”). You grant SchoolDone a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, transmit, and process Your Content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service for you. The license ends when you delete the relevant content or your account, except for residual copies in encrypted backups for the period described in our Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have the right to submit Your Content and that doing so will not violate any third-party rights or law.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass access controls or rate limits.
- Upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Service.
- Resell or provide the Service as a hosted offering to third parties.
- Impersonate another person or use the Service to process data you lack authority to process.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations, misuse that endangers other users, or as required by law.
9. Third-party services
SchoolDone integrates with Google (sign-in), Apple (sign-in on iOS), Google Play, the App Store, RevenueCat, and device speech services when you use dictation. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. SchoolDone's use of Google user data is bound by the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements, as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual property
SchoolDone, the SchoolDone name, logo, and Service software are owned by Alleanza Systems LLC. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE OPERATION.
SchoolDone is not a backup service. Maintain your own copies of important records.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Alleanza Systems LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SCHOOLDONE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; PARTS OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Alleanza Systems LLC from claims arising out of (a) Your Content, (b) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or any law, or (c) your violation of any third-party right.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.
15. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
15.1 Binding arbitration
You and SchoolDone agree that disputes arising out of the Service or these Terms will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, in Utah or by telephone or video at your election.
15.2 Class-action waiver
Each party may bring claims only in an individual capacity, not as a class or representative member.
15.3 Opt-out
You may opt out within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing help@alleanzasystem.comwith subject “SchoolDone Arbitration Opt-Out.”
16. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. Continued use after the new date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
